Crusader families, it is time to gear up and head back to the Realm for another school year.
There will be NO registration dates this year. All currently enrolled students have been automatically registered and payments will be arranged at a later date. New student registration forms can be found at the top of our homepage, completed and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Senior High Class Selection
Efforts were made in June to contact all senior high students. Beginning Tuesday, August 25, calls will be made to those who we did not speak to in June. Any course changes can be made on the first day of classes.
Crusaders will not be permitted to choose lockers this year. Lockers will be assigned alphabetically in cohorts (grades) and staggered to help with distancing in our hallways.
Textbook/Book Returns from 2019-2020
Families, if you still have textbooks and/or library materials that were not returned in June, please have your child bring them back on their first day. It is important to return them because of the 72 hour quarantine measures. We need these back so that we can put them in the hands of students as soon as possible to be ready for the second week of school. Students will receive a list of books not returned as a reminder and invoice for unreturned books will be sent to Central Office at the end of September.
Nana Annette will be back to provide hot meals for the Cru! We urge the Cru to pre-order where possible due to the many AHS guidelines that need to be followed. Meal specials are always available on our calendar when the menu is confirmed. View calendar. Other menu options are available every day, but must be pre-ordered during first breaks.
Students will be receiving two masks from SPERD and will be required to wear a mask where social distancing is not possible. We will be sharing guidelines with Crusaders during our first week back. Families can provide additional masks and those can be worn as well.

We encourage all our Crusader families to subscribe to our website. Subscribing means that you will receive ALL our blog posts right to your mailbox. To subscribe, go to our homepage fgmiller.ca and click on the button "Subscribe to FGM" (located in the left banner) and enter your email address and you will receive all future posts. This is the best way to stay informed. A website tour can also be found on our homepage in the left banner.

Alertus is an app that SPERD uses to notify families of school closures, bus updates, and other important information. Alertus can be set up on your cell phone. Alertus Instructions link.
We encourage all our families to use PowerSchool to keep up-to-date on your Crusader's assignments, quizzes and exams. This program provides you with a current grade mark and allows you to view assignments missed and more! Powerschool MUST be set up on a desktop computer, but can then be accessed on all cellular devices through an app. To view the setup instructions and the CODE required for your cellular device, click here!
