Celebrating Our Award Winners

This week, the Elk Point Elks made a special visit to F.G. Miller to celebrate the accomplishments of two of our graduating students. They surprised Avery Warawa with the Steve Kuziw Memorial Award, for her positive attitude and community mindedness, as well as her dedication to the field of athletics and recreation. Congratulations Avery and we wish you all the best at post-secondary and on your journey to become an Athletic Therapist.

The Elks also presented our valedictorian, Kori Kozicki, with the E.H. Bjornstad Scholarship of $1000 for her academic excellence and contributions to the school community. Principal Bjorkman also presented Kori with the 2022 Inter Pipeline Discovery Award which is given to a student who is pursuing further education in an industry-related program. Congratulations Kori and we wish you much success at the University of Alberta in the fall.
