Badminton Results!

Badminton season has come to a close and it was a successful season back after COVID. Our Sr. High team went to the SPAA championships on April 20th in St. Paul we had 7 kids advance to the Zone Championships on April 27th in Lloydminster. Christine Guerzon, Taylor Swedgan, Lexi Wirsta, Kade Fontaine, Sam Rogal, Konnor Poitras and Jager Fontaine were our advancers. The kids played hard at zones, Konnor Poitras won Silver in Junior Boys Singles and will be going to provincials in Medicine Hat on May 6th and 7th. Kade Fontaine and Sam Rogal also had a good day bringing home a bronze medal.

On the Jr. High side the kids competed in the SPAA championships on April 26th in St. Paul. The girls finished 3rd overall and our boys brought home the Jr High Boys SPAA banner!
