Flying Shoeboxes! 28 Smiles Strong

Operation Christmas Child has been one of the wonderful activities that we have done at FGM in an effort to make children smile all year long! Our focus is filling the shoebox with wonderful items that we sometimes take for granted. This is our 21 year in adding to the millions of shoeboxes collected each year.

Special thanks to this year's Crusader and Community Kris Kingles: Bjorkman family (2), Miss Norton (2), Mr. Braga and Mr. Thornton (2), Lauryn Smith, Mrs. Loughran, Makenna Rose, Elaine Bjorkman, Miss Kryzanowski (3), Lennyn Loughran, Rowyn Loughran, Colby Havener, Dakota Havener, Mrs. Capjack (2), Stephanie Jacula (2), Kolbie Poitras, Mrs. Brooker, Ms. T. Smith, Ethan Hampson, Dawn Lameman (2).

Our 28 shoeboxes are earmarked for Central American and African countries.

Special thanks to Amy and Andre Noel for coordinating the shoeboxes for us and being there for us to drop the boxes off at the Baptist Church on Friday.

We encourage all our Crusader staff and students to bring an item or two for the Santa's Anonymous box that we have in our main office. Gift items for families in our community are always welcome! Thanks to the Elk Point Community Lions for spearheading this much needed program for families in our community.

May the spirit of giving be part of your holiday traditions this coming season and always.
