Flying Shoeboxes! A Crusade to Make Children Smile - Deadline Friday Nov. 22!
Operation Christmas Child has been one of the wonderful activities that we have done at FGM in an effort to make children smile all year long! Our focus is filling the shoebox with wonderful items that we sometimes take for granted. This is our 21 year in adding to the millions of shoeboxes collected each year.
Collection week is November 20-24 and our deadline for shoeboxes is Friday, November 22, 2019, at noon. The price of shipping a shoebox has gone up to $10. Please place this on the top of your filled shoebox in the envelope provided. This year, Canadian boxes will go to.....
Boxes are available just outside the library by the front door of the school. A brochure is enclosed in each box with ideas on what to fill the box and you can even send a personalized Christmas card with well wishes and photos. We hope you choose to fill a shoebox this year and make a child smile!
