Breaking News! - Money for Mudryk

We are thrilled to announce that Ramsey Mudryk has been awarded the Belcourt Brosseau Metis Award. Part of the Edmonton Community Foundation, The Belcourt Brosseau Métis Awards (BBMA) Fund was established to help Métis Albertans realize self-sufficiency through post-secondary education and skills development. THE BBMA WERE ESTABLISHED IN 2001 by the directors of the Canative Housing Corporation, Orval Belcourt, Dr. Herb Belcourt, and Georges Brosseau. Since 2002, the BBMA have provided more than $5.8 million in over 1,300 awards to more than 900 Métis Albertans studying at institutions across Alberta. These awards are the largest non-governmental source of student funding for Métis students in Canada.
What does this all mean for Ramsey? From what we understand, 100% of his tuition and mandatory fees for post-secondary will be paid (to a maximum of $10 000). We are so excited for Ramsey and wish him the best in his post-secondary journey.
